In Sara’s lecture/class we were supposed to bring a template
of a person’s head and shoulders to animate in After Effects. At first I had a
hard time choosing what to bring, but eventually I couldn’t resist of making one
of those (rather creepy) wooden fortune tellers you see in fairs. Or used to
see, my sources tell me there’s a few left in Whales, but we had trouble locating
one.
This is the template I brought in.
And this is the result of the finished animation. I am
rather satisfied with it, although I'm considering of adding ominous chicken
noises (or ominous chanting, whichever) to set the creepy factor up a bit
higher.
