Typography/Themed Illustrations

On our Thursday session with John he gave us a task to make our own alphabet. At first I was a bit discouraged by this task but the more I thought about it the more I decided to indulge myself into this task. So I decided to make a tribute and make an alphabet with stylized illustrations of my favorite horror movie characters that in a way can be considered to be classics.

This task ended up being really fun to do, not only because I got to do a lot of problem solving and thinking how to shape a character into a letter and keep them both still recognizable but also the fact that I got to share, insert and to re-experience some of my favorite movies made doing this very enjoyable.

Bellow I posted the alphabet and an explanation to which letter is what character (even though I would slightly prefer leaving it a mystery since the monsters I decided to portray are more or less universally recognizable.).
